Happy Birthday, Jeremy

Dear ones, today is Jeremy Hammond’s 29th birthday.  We here at the Shipwreck wish him well, and hope that it is as happy as can be under the circumstances.

Normally, we’d be sending cards and such, but Jeremy has been moved about quite a bit lately (last I checked he was in Atlanta), en route from MDC Brooklyn to where ever he will will be serving the rest of his sentence.  You may want to hold off on sending letters or cards, as the prison system is not known for its ability to forward mail to inmates.  We promise to alert you to Jeremy’s new address as soon as he gets where he’s going.

In the meantime, there are plenty of other prisoners who could always use some love.  OpPenPal has a list.  NYC ABC has a calendar of birthdays with addresses attached.
