This Sunday: Radical Librarians Book Club at Bluestockings

Reminder, friends, this Sunday, March 17, at 2PM is the monthly meeting of the Radical Librarians Book Club at Bluestockings, located at 172 Allen St. in Manhattan.  From their website:

The Radical Librarians Book Club is a group of aspiring librarians, current librarians, and other folks who are invested in re-envisioning the traditional library. We seek to examine issues of librarianship from a radical, politically-focused perspective, and build community within the field. This month we will be discussing the zine “Archiving the Underground” edited by Jenna Brager and Jami Sailor.

I’ve been meaning to go to this event for a long time.  This month I finally acted like a responsible adult and got my hands on the reading.  I’ve almost finished reading it, even!   Anyway, I hope to see you there.
